Girl Scout Cookie S'mores

Girl Scout Cookie S'mores

I got my Girl Scout cookies two weeks ago.
I ate some, froze some, and hid some, so I would forget where they were.
Today I found them. I made s'mores. Enough said.

The cookies I used: Do-si-dos for peanut buttery deliciousness and of course, the Thin Mint.

My new marshmallows. How amazing are these?
I should have taken a better picture so you could see one laying on it's side.
They are flat rectangles - perfect for S'mores. Love it!

The chocolate I used for the S'mores.
I had these laying around from Hannukah and they were round and fit perfectly so why not.

The Girl Scout S'mores

Girl Scout S'mores

Ingredients

Girl Scout Cookies -  (I used Do-Si-Dos and Thin Mints)

Chocolate - (I used round chocolate coins from Hannukah because I had them and they fit perfectly between the cookie. Use whatever you have, it all tastes good.)

Marshmallows - (I used the new StackerMallows. So neat! They are flat little rectangles. I got mine at Albertsons)

Directions

1. Separate your do-si-dos cookies and place one piece of chocolate on one side of the cookie and a marshmallow right on top of the chocolate.

2. Place the cookie half with the chocolate and the marshmallow on a plate and microwave for 40 seconds or until marshmallow is puffy but doesn't explode. Take out of the microwave and squish the marshmallow down with the other cookie half.

Tip: If you use chocolate girl scout cookies you will have to roast the marshmallow the old fashioned way - over a fire or your stove because if you put the chocolate cookies in the microwave they will melt all over the place.
