Easter Peep S'mores

Easter Peep S'mores

Easy

Nothing better than ooey gooey chocolatey s'mores. Yes, I make up words. Deal with it. We're talking about s'mores! These bad boys are delicious and if you don't make these peep s'mores this Easter you're crazy. Yup, crazy! I ate the yellow one. OK, and the blue one. Ahhhhhh who am I kidding, I ate the yellow, blue, and orange one. Lily ate the pink one. I feel a little sick.

Peep S'mores

Aren't these just the happiest little s'mores you ever did see?!

What You Need

As many peeps, graham crackers, and chocolate as your heart desires! And don't skimp on the chocolate. I can't stand when people only put one itty bitty square of chocolate in their s'more.

Directions
In case you have never made a S'more .... in which case, I now will ask ..... WHAT!!??!??!?

1. Break your graham cracker sheets in half and place only half of the crackers you plan to use on a microwavable plate.

2. Place at least 2 pieces of chocolate on each of those graham cracker halves, and then place one Peep on top of the chocolate.

3. Microwave the s'mores WITHOUT the top graham cracker  for about 15 seconds (on High). Watch them because one Lilyshop member said hers exploded right at 15 seconds!

4. Remove from microwave and immediately press down on the warm Peep with the other graham cracker.

Viola! Peep S'mores! Enjoy!

Made them again this weekend at camp for my staff kids. Watched the microwave like a hawk and pulled them out at 15 seconds. They Peeps were nice and gooey (and did not explode!). The kids all LOVED them. Some of the adults asked for them as well - good thing I brought extras just in case.

So I made these for my Dad last night (Dad=guinea pig). The peep kind of exploded in the microwave...at 15 seconds (thank goodness I was watching). Still tasted good but I had a VERY large peep-mess to deal with. :)

Oh no!! You know what, I microwaved mine for 15 seconds then opened the door to look at the peep and then did another 15 seconds after that - That's probably why mine did not explode. I will edit my notes above. I'm so sorry! I didn't even think about that.
