We're putting a twist on the classic caramel apple.
You won't break a tooth here - come take a dip with us : )

Caramel Filled Apples
(4 servings)
Ingredients
1 bag of caramels
4 Granny Smith Apples
Directions
1. Cut the tops of your apples off and set aside.
2. Scoop out the body of the apple with a melon baller. Be sure not to get too close to the skin because if you pierce through the apple it wont work. Set aside.
3. Place all your unwrapped caramels in a glass bowl and microwave on high at 30 second intervals, stirring in between. Continue until all the caramels are melted. Remove from microwave and pour into hollowed apples. (Make sure to melt your dipping sauce in a bowl and NOT the actual apple)
These are best served immediately.
Tip: Dab lemon juice on the rim of the apple as well as the "lid" of the apple so it doesn't turn brown. ** Also perfect for Rosh Hashanah. You can fill the apple with honey!

Iím not that much of a internet reader to be honest but your blogs really nice, keep it up! I'll go ahead and bookmark your website to come back down the road. Cheers
Thank you so much! So sweet of you : )
Well we put them cut sideways into fridge and let caramel harden. Then sliced them into wedges were great. We actually liked the little wedges of cool caramel into wedges and thought it was one of the best snacks we've had in awhile really. Thanks for the lead idea and we liked the cold snack better really was great. I think cool crisp honey sweets are best sliced into wedges.
YUM! I absolutely love that idea. I will try it and post. Send me pics if you can so I can say you did it first! Xx
Perfect after school snack. Thanks
