My baby is one!
Does time go by faster when you have children? I never realized how old I was until I had my babies. I think it's because every day you watch them grow and grow. You have something to watch. It's truly amazing.
I decided on an Ice Cream Party for Olive. She doesn't walk. She doesn't talk. And she has zero teeth, so what's more fitting than a big ice cream party!? Scroll down to see my baby Olive Blue's First Ice Cream Party!
OK, I admit, I tend to go a bit overboard with my parties. But she's only a baby once and I just get so excited when she gets so excited! Lily is obsessed with Rapunzel so for her 3rd birthday it was only fitting that the princess had a Tangled-themed birthday party! No matter how big or small your party is, you can always get creative and hand make almost everything. Click through to see what I did and how I made it!
We got up early today so we decided to make birthday pancakes. No one's birthday over here but they are fun nonetheless. Enjoy!
I made these Paper Poms for my daughter's first birthday. It was vintage themed party so I used different pink and peach paper to match the decor. You can buy 20" x 30" tissue paper sheets pretty much anywhere. I hung these poms with clear filament string but I have also used satin ribbon which is very pretty. I have made white poms for a bridal shower and blue poms for a baby shower. You can really use them for anything.
