Last week I hosted a crafting for charity event at my house and Glad was gracious enough to sponsor the event. I invited all my closest crafters and we put together 1000 Glad craft bags. Each bag contained a different children's craft and all the bags were then donated to the Painted Turtle where children with serious medical conditions can celebrate just being kids at their totally awesome camp! It's an amazing charity that has offered thousands of children and their families encouragement since 2004. The camp is filled with fun activities and crafts where kids can forget about their illnesses and just smile. If you have not checked them out please do so here: The Painted Turtle

What's a party without some fringe tassels!? Love. These are easy and I'm uploading the tutorial soon .... I promise!
We had three different craft tables set up where people put together different craft bags. This table in particular was the "Princess Crown" craft bag. I decorated the tables with colorful flowers and some gems scattered on the table.

This table was for the DIY Princess Wand craft bag. These are so easy. Each Glad bag contained a wood dowel, ribbons, glitter tape, and of course instructions.

A party wouldn't be complete without food .... Do you like my super cute chalkboard sign!? Hehehe I am so freaking clever. Chevron paper runner is from the fabulous Paper Source <3
Nom nom nom. Food from Blue Table. Yum.
And for party favors ..... lots of gum in my favorite blue mason jars from Paper Source. All the tips of the feathers were spray painted and the chalkboard labels are from Paper Source as well!
Thank you to all my fabulous friends who came out to support this event!
And a HUGE, gigantic, ridiculous thank you to Glad for sponsoring this event. They are amazing!
